Very dirty and inconvenient.

There were chicken bones by the pool for over 24 hours, there was a boerewors sausage on the floor in the hallway that the cleaner constantly walked past and eventually picked up and then there was a spilled drink and garbage in the foyer by the elevators for most of the weekend. The indoor hot tub stand and the water were very dirty so that eventually we couldn't stand it much longer and got out. Lastly, the beach and the restaurants are very far, so it is quite a walk to get to them which is highly inconvenient if you don't have a car, was not impressed at all. Will not be back. On the plus side the staff at reception was very friendly.

We are definitely gutted to have not provided a more enjoyable holiday for you Steve - especially as this is not the kind of experience that our guests are accustomed to. Our resort is beachfront along the famous Umhlanga promenade nestled privately slightly off the walkway offering reserve views as well as sea views, and we're sorry to note that the close location wasn't as close to the beach as you had anticipated. Secondly, We have raised the issues mentioned with housekeeping and definitely will endeavour to ensure that there will be improvements made in this regard.
