Urban Retreat
Description
The Campsite is small and private and has an ablution building with a shower, basin, toilet and outdoor hot shower. If the The Nest is unoccupied, the campsite can use a second ablution facility. There is a gate leading to the Aynsberg Nature Reserve, offering access to mountain pools. There is a small mountain pool for those very hot days, and bird baths to attract resident birds. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement to the campsite.

Peter's House is a self-catering cottage with 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom fitted with a shower. The cottage comprises a kitchen and living area. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size gas stove and oven, fridge and a microwave. The cottage has an outside braai area and a sitting area close to the pond for bird watching.

The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge and a stove, and the cottage has a private patio with portable braai facilities and alfresco dining area.

The Nest is an open-plan, self-catering cottage situated in the campsite, within walking distance from the main farm house. The cottage has an open-plan sleeping, dining and cooking area. There is a single bed which doubles as a couch, a king-size bed, a round dining table and a kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven and stove. There is a braai area and a separate ablution building with a toilet, basin and shower. The building has limited electricity from a solar system but is perfectly adequate. The lighting is mainly solar or candles to add ambience. The outside verandah is ideal for viewing the night sky and bird watching.
