Description
Vaal River Bush Lodge is situated in Boschenvaal Riverfront Lodge and offers quality accommodation for a family or group of friends. It is a mere hour's drive from Johannesburg making it an ideal spot to break away to over a weekend or during school holidays.
The house comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time. Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom. The first living area has 2 single beds and the second living area has 2 single sleeper couches. Of the 3 en-suite bathrooms, 1 has a bath and a shower, the second has a bath only, and the third has a shower-over-bath. The fourth, separate bathroom is fitted with a bath, a shower, a toilet, and a basin, as well as a guest toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge has comfortable couches as well as a TV with selected DStv channels, and an 8-seater dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together. There is a 6-seater downstairs bar and leisure area for effortless socializing. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access.
The house centres around a sparkling clear swimming pool with a wooden deck surrounded by lush indigenous vegetation. Natural wood prominently features in the interior finishes, with plenty of natural light streaming in from the many retractable doors and windows.
All living rooms lead off from this idyllic leisure and living area and guests can relax in front of 2 fireplaces. The outdoor patio comprises 2 deck umbrellas, a hammock, 8 sun loungers as well as an 8-seater dining table.
The unique boathouse is a glass-walled sunroom suspended above the Vaal River and is a spectacular place to spend any time of the day. The boathouse has its own hammock, lounge, and an 8-seater dining room table. There is a 3-seater swing as well as 4 additional hammocks on the jetty.
Guest can relax in the Jacuzzi, and braai facilities, as well as secure parking on the premises in a lock-up garage, is provided. The property has a generator in case of power failure or scheduled loadshedding.
