The house is haunted, the TV is an antique, the entertainment area was a mission to get to, most unpleasant and there should be a modern, updated TV in the kitchen/lounge area.

Hi Michelle, I am sorry that your experience was not good, we strive that people enjoy the time at the house. I can assure you that the house is not haunted, else we would need to increase our price for this added facility!
Regarding the old TV, we have replaced it with a 55 inch smart TV and installed free, uncapped Wi-Fi. The DStv is now available on the app to avoid the connection problems that you experienced.
We can't do much about the staircase inside - it is part of the "quaint" feel of a West Coast house. We have also chosen to have only one TV at the house, as most guests find this more than adequate.
Thanks for the feedback. We have reacted on it and hopefully future guests will get the benefit of the suggestions.
