Description

Windrose is a self-catering, double-storey, thatched house located in Witsand, in a small private village called Oysterbeds, on the Breede River Estuary, which has a private harbour and mooring facility.

The property can accommodate up to 8 adults and 2 children and comprises 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and 2 living areas. The first and second bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size bed each, and the third and fourth bedrooms have 2 single beds each that can be converted into a king-size on request. These bedrooms share 2 bathrooms fitted with a bath and a shower. The fifth bedroom is located on the ground floor and is furnished with a sofa bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.

The main living area is located downstairs and features an open-plan design with a kitchen that is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, a dishwasher, and a central dining table. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge with a fireplace and comfortable seating. The TV room is located upstairs, which opens onto a balcony where one can watch the sunrise and sunset, sip a cocktail, or look out to the river mouth and the ocean.

Guests have access to a washing machine and tumble dryer, a courtyard with comfortable outdoor seating, braai facilities, a small garden and secure parking.
