This is a tent site for a single small tent sleeping a maximum of 2 people with 1 vehicle. There are a variety of shady sites with lush lawns and trees. Sites away from the entrance offer peace and quiet, while sites closer to the playground and tea garden provide shelter under enormous forest trees. Solar panels are encouraged but not generators. There is a communal ablution block fitted with showers, toilets, a bath and washbasins.

A perfect campsite for tents,off road trailers and caravans, roof top tents and overlanders. There are a variety of shady sites to choose from, with lush lawns and trees. Sites away from the entrance offer peace and quiet, while sites closer to the playground and tea garden provide shelter under enormous forest trees. The best-positioned campsites are the ones without electrical points along the river. Many sites are sunny so guests are welcome to bring solar panels. This campsite offers standard electrical points for lighting and fridges only. Capacity is limited and equipment with heating elements are not permitted. Solar panels are encouraged but not generators. The fireplaces are low stone rock circles and guests should bring their own braai grids. There are only a few water points in the whole campsite. There is a communal ablution block fitted with showers, toilets, a bath and washbasins.

Description

The tiny loft is a cosy, thatched room situated above the gift shop. The loft offers a bird's eye view of the trees, and has a very steep staircase. The loft contains a double bed and 2 comfy chairs. There is an electric light and plug point for charging electronics. The loft is ideal for a getaway where cooking is not part of the plan. Yellowwood's restaurant can cater for your every need after an active day. Bird watch from the tiny deck at the top of the stairs, or from your bed. Guests have use of the camp site ablution facilities which are approximately 50 m away. Linen is provided.

There is just space for a double bed, a big wall unit, an electric light, a plug point for charging electronics, a small bar fridge, an electric kettle, and a 2-plate stove. The cabin is equipped with pots and pans, and cutlery and crockery for 2 guests. The campsite's circular stone fire pits are right outside, so bring your camping chairs and braai under the stars. There is a communal ablution block fitted with showers, toilets, a bath and washbasins. Book a campsite next to it for added space and privacy.

The Bush Camp is thatched, wooden and particularly rustic. It is positioned perfectly between the trees and a huge Yellowwood right on the river. It shaded and gets the best of the afternoon sun just in time for sundowners. It has a small open deck with a table, chairs, and a 2-plate gas stove and kettle. 3 stairs lead up to a single room with 2 big windows from where guests can enjoy a view of the forest. It has a double bed and a single bed. There is a cupboard containing pots and pans, and crockery and cutlery for 4 people. There is also an electric light and a plug point for charging electronics. There is a communal ablution block fitted with showers, toilets, a bath and washbasins. Book the campsite next to it for extra space and privacy.

The Riverside Group Cabin is set up as a self-catering dormitory, and is ideal for groups of friends and families. There are 10 single bunk beds and 1 double bed. Linen is included. Please bring own towels. There is plenty of seating on the open veranda which overlooks the forest and stream. There is a small shared kitchen area, with gas stove top, kettle and fridge. Outside is a braai circle area under an enormous fig tree. There is a communal ablution block fitted with showers, toilets, a bath and washbasins. Wi-Fi and seating is available nearby at the restaurant and reception.

Cob cottage is a unique self-catering family unit. A hand-built “mud” house, a work of art reflecting a love of glass, light, and nature. The thatched cottage sleeps 4 people comfortably in 2 double bedrooms. Extra mattresses and linen can be arranged for kids. The upstairs bedroom is accessed via an extremely steep staircase and it has a private deck for bird watching and forest views. There is a bathroom with toilet as well as an outdoor covered shower. The kitchen's spacious counter is the hub of activity as there is no separate dining area. It is well equipped with a small bar fridge, a toaster, a kettle, a gas hob and an electric oven. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and glasses are provided. Linen is provided. Bring your own towels.
