Description

The Timbavati Private Game Reserve is a 550km² reserve offering some of the best and most diverse game viewing in South Africa. The reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, allowing animals to roam freely.

The Timbavati floodplain is a wonderful safari destination with fine bushveld trees and mopane shrub terrain. There are 40 species of mammals to spot in the reserve, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, and elephant) as well as 360 species of birds.
