DanielsHoogte Private Reserve offers self-catering chalets and is located a working farm, rich with fynbos; situated at the top of the mountains, approximately 10 km from the town of Aurora. The property offers tranquil, picturesque views of the area.

Accommodation at DanielsHoogte Private Reserve comprises 3 chalets and 1 Cave Campsite. The chalets are located in different locations on the property, and can accommodate 4 to 6 persons and consist of either 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. Each unit features a standard kitchen with basic appliances, and a living area with a fireplace.

There is 1 cave campsite that has access to 1 ablution block that has solar heating, running water, and flushing toilets. This reserve offers a host of wildlife, such as black eagle; klipspringer; duiker; fallow deer; lynx, aardwolf, dassie, porcupine, baboon, the rare Cape eagle- owl and the leopard.

There are also many hiking and mountain cycling paths to explore on-site. DanielsHoogte Private Reserve is also located approximately an hour’s drive from Velddrif, and 74 km from St Helena Bay.
