Description

De Waal Drive 16 is a charming self-carting house, located only 150m from the ocean. This is the ideal accommodation option for a large family or a group of friends, accommodating up to 9 people. It is also close to fishing- and diving spots.

The house can accommodate 10 guests comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedroom are each furnished with a double bed. The third bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds while the fourth bedroom has a tri-bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer combination, hob and oven, and a microwave as well as cutlery and crockery. There is a separate scullery with a washing machine and a dishwasher. The open-plan living area has ample seating, a dining area, and an indoor fireplace. It leads into a second lounge with a flat-screen TV. Guests are welcome to bring their own decoder and smart card for DStv viewing.

Outside, there is a large verandah with views of the ocean as well as an enclosed garden with an outdoor braai facility.

Struisbaai prides itself on its beautiful beach that stretches 14 km from Struisbaai to Arniston. The beach is a fantastic spot for water sports like kayaking, boating, surfing, body boarding, fishing, and kite surfing, as well as shell collecting, beach strolls, and whale watching. Keep an eye out for the beautiful giant stingrays that live in these sheltered waters, some of which are 2m long.
