Drakensberg Mountain Retreat is a stunning destination in the northern Drakensberg only 20 km beyond Sterkfontein Dam. Situated high on a ridge overlooking the Drakensberg and the Maluti Mountains many have said that the views are unsurpassed.
The accommodation comprises a lodge with 4 upstairs- and 5 downstairs rooms that offer guests dinner, bed and breakfast. There is a fully equipped, self-catering Barnhouse that has 5 en-suite rooms, 5 dormitory rooms that share an ablution block which is ideal for group bookings with a minimum of 8 guests.
We offer a full stocked bar, a lounge, dining room and an enclosed verandah that has a 100 km long panoramic views of the central and northern Drakensberg, the Amphitheatre and Royal Natal National Park.
