Description
Earth Cottage is situated near the whale coast of Hermanus, in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, flanking the vineyards of Hamilton Russell. The cottage is tucked away on a smallholding in the valley, and yet it's only about 8 km from Sandbaai Beach. A little tarred road leads right up to the garden gate and off-street parking area; you won't need to travel on any dirt roads. This property has an inverter and is not affected by load shedding.
This cottage can accommodate 5 guests, ideally 3 adults and up to two children. It has 1 bedroom featuring a double bed and an infant-only cot, and a lounge area featuring a single bed and a single sleeper couch. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, microwave oven, kettle, 2-slice toaster, a combination fridge-freezer, washing machine, and cutlery and crockery. Towels, linen, and braai wood will be provided. Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi.
There are steps that lead to the cottage from the parking area. Please note that the steps are uneven and may be challenging for guests who are frail or have special needs. There are one- and two-step stairs inside the cottage as well.
The pleasures of the rest of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Hermanus, Walker Bay, the lagune and Onrust are just down the road. La Vierge Restaurant is a mere 2 km away.
