Our unit was R13, it is a ground unit of a duplex. Next time I would rather take the upper unit as you can hear everything that is going on above you, like if someone moves a chair or if someone taps water it is very clearly audible. The units are cleaned every day, as well as the braai. Note that you may only grill the duplex units with charcoal and not with wood. One of the reasons we chose the cabanas was the activities for the kids. One of the activities was the big "slides". Unfortunately they were not operational and it was a big disappointment for my children. And, if they would work we had to pay R70 per child so they could slide. Why do we have to pay extra for on-site amenities? Maybe they only open it in season. What was very disturbing to me was the fact that they were doing construction work at the entrance and since we were staying very close to the entrance, the noise was very disturbing. I went to ask Elliot at reception if we could be moved to another unit and he said he would find out and let me know, but I never heard from him again. As it was still off season, there were many open units further from the entrance. I feel that the management should have thought about booking people further away from the entrance instead while the construction is going on. The unit has a gas hob oven which we really enjoyed as we are not big on eating out and like to cook our own food.
