Description
Kasteelkop Guest Farm is situated 20 km from Frankfort, a small town situated on the bank of the Wilge River in the Free State Province of South Africa.
Accommodation comprises of 3 units can accommodate up to 29 guests. The units on offer include the Guesthouse, the Farmhouse and the Schuur.
The Guesthouse can accommodate 7 adults and 2 children and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sleeper couch, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area with a dining area and fireplace. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds and the third bedroom contains a double bed as well as a single daybed. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and stove. There is a sleeper couch available in the living room. Outside facilities include a patio with a built-in braai and a Jacuzzi is available at an additional cost.
The Farmhouse sleeps up to 14 adults and 2 children and comprises 4 bedrooms and a common room. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, 2 single beds, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom contains a double bed, 2 single beds, and a separate bathroom. The third room contains 2 single beds with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and the fourth room contains a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The common room comprises a double sleeper couch and 2 single beds. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and stove. Other facilities include a jacuzzi, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. The farmhouse has 2 patio areas, one is enclosed with a seating and dining area as well as a built-in braai. Other in-room amenities include ceiling fans, linen, a TV, DStv, and towels. Guests are welcome to bring their own decoder and smart card or hard drive.
The Schuur comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sleeper couch, and can sleep up to 8 adults and 2 children. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The second, third, and fourth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower. Other facilities include a dining area, a fireplace, a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and stove. There is also a lounge area and a TV. This unit does not have a Jacuzzi but is fully equipped for small conferences and functions.
Please note that Jacuzzis are charged separately.
On-site activities include bird watching, fishing, horse riding mountain biking, hiking trials, and spa options are available in request.
