Werklik iets besonders gewees en ons het die mees interessante mense van oral ontmoet.

Kan die tente-kamp aanbeveel. Kos en diens was uitstekend gewees. Ons het baie interessante mense van ander lande ontmoet en lekker gekuier.

Really something special and we met the most interesting people from everywhere.

Can recommend the tented camp. Food and service were excellent. We met many interesting people from other countries and had a great time.

No directions were given to us. I would never recommend anyone to travel 62 km of dirt road with with no cell phone signal. It was not really glamping. Just nice camping.

The location was nice once we found it, as Natasha failed to communicate with us, or email us directions or the list of suggested items to bring. The tents were comfortable. Showering under a hole in the roof was unpleasant. The picnic basket we ordered never arrived. We had to run around looking for someone to arrange this. The contents was disappointing. High tea was embarrassing. A thin square of vanilla cake about 2 cm by 1 cm with about 1 ml of jam. A few cheese straws and Salami slices folded over. The chef from SALT at Paul Kluwer provided the food. The milk was sour every day.

Namaqua Flower Beach Camp 's response

Dear Pat,

Thank you for your feedback.

Our coastal camp is clearly signposted as is the Namaqua National Park entrance. All our personal pages have location details and 3 sets of communication are sent out to every guest with all the details for the camp. It appears that you are possibly the only guest not to have noticed or received any communication.

It is clear that glamping, or 'camping' as you put it, is not your cup of tea - and we accept that. That said, we have taken your other comments to heart and will address these to improve the experience next year.

PS: In a survey we do with our guests, the hot shower is a delightful surprise and scored top marks.

Regards,
Namaqua Flower Beach Camp
