Description

GorgeGlide Cullinan is an exciting zip line adventure park in Cullinan, just 30 minutes from Pretoria, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Offering a variety of long and slow or high and fast zip line adventures, GorgeGlide provides hours of fun for the whole family.

The GorgeGlides criss-crosses over the beautiful Moningy Gorge on a zip line (also known as a canopy tour) without making any impact on the natural surroundings. Visitors can choose between two glides; “The Granny” and “The Superman”. The Granny is a slower, scenic journey that is great as a first run to get yourself into the swing of things. You will cruise down the 260m zip line at a comfortable 30km an hour, just 45m above the floor of the ravine. The Superman is for the adrenaline junkies who prefer the 570m adventure over the cliff tops. You will feel as though you are flying at speeds of up to 75km an hour, 65m above the floor. An adventure you won’t forget!

GorgeGlides vary in length between 260-570m, and can accommodate up to 8 gliders per trip on scheduled departures. Larger groups can be accommodated over several trips. This adventure activity is suitable for persons with a bodyweight of between 40kg and 120kg.

Other activities include hiking through Muningi Gorge and abseiling down a 55m cliff (one of the highest abseiling experiences in Gauteng). You will have an abseiling instructor who will guide you through the process as well as give you a safety briefing.
