"The local Spar burnt down recently which meant shopping for basic groceries required a bit of planning - a trip into Umhlanga or Ballito. Basics are available at the Spar makeshift store or at a price from the garage shop. The local fish and chip shop, Spud, serves excellent hake and sides."
