Description

Cycasia Lodge is a large, double-storey house in Umzumbe that offers self-catering accommodation. The property is 7-acres of tropical gardens and bush and is an easy 1 km from Umzumbe's Blue Flag beach. It is approximately 7 km from Hibberdene and 17 km from Port Shepstone.

The house can be split into 3 self-contained units, a 2-sleeper main bedroom, an 6 sleeper main house, and a 4-sleeper flatlet on the upper level. Each has its own kitchen facilities. When all 3 of these units are combined, up to 14 guests, 10 adults and 4 children, can be accommodated.

Also available are 4 adjacent, 2-sleeper garden units with a shared verandah. These units also have their own kitchenettes. Units 1 and 4 can have an additional bed added for 1 child or adult.

The top flat above the house, has distant sea views over treetops. The house, flat and Honeymoon suite have a large entertainment and pool area, as well as a sunken garden that can be used for functions or weddings. Ideal for large family groups who want their own space but to be together. Free WiFi is available.
