House Rules
Madeira Berghuis does not have electricity and has limited cellphone reception.
Hot water is provided by a wood-fired donkey hot water system.
Guests, please need to bring their own towels.
Candleholders and 1 set of candles are provided, and guests need to bring their own additional candles, lamps and flashlights.
Wood can be provided on request at an additional cost, and guests are welcome to bring their own.
Dogs are welcome with prior arrangements at no additional fee, and owners need to bring their own pet bedding; pets are not allowed on the furniture.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation, and it is suggested that a bakkie, SUV or 4x4 be used in the rainy season. Guests are required to enquire about the road's condition before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
