Description
The Berghuis has accommodation for up to 6 people, the off-the-grid house does not have electricity and has limited cellphone reception. It comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living area that opens onto a covered stoep. One of the bedrooms contains a queen-size bed and the second and third bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Guests share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower and a toilet. Warm water bottles and bedding are provided, and guests please need to bring their own towels. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge, a 2-plate gas stove, and a wood-fired oven. Candleholders and 1 set of candles are provided, and guests please need to bring their own additional candles, lamps and flashlights. Guests can relax in the lounge in front of the cosy fireplace, and the living area opens onto a covered stoep with a built-in braai area.

Hot water is provided by a wood-fired donkey hot water system.
Guests, please need to bring their own towels.

Wood can be provided on request at an additional cost, and guests are welcome to bring their own.
Dogs are welcome with prior arrangements at no additional fee, and owners need to bring their own pet bedding; pets are not allowed on the furniture.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation, and it is suggested that a bakkie, SUV or 4x4 be used in the rainy season. Guests are required to enquire about the road's condition before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
