Golf good, accommodation disappointing.

No hot water in the mornings meant we had to take cold showers. Bathroom facilities in general are poor and dirty. The road to the units is not suitable for sedan motor cars. No pre-instructions were provided on how to enter the premises or exit on the day of departure (we had to phone to find out for ourselves). Overall, there was no customer service and it was not worth the tariff.

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry I missed you during your stay. I visited your cabin numerous times but you were either out or indoors as there was no reply when I called. I did not want to disturb you. I also came on Sunday morning to discuss the check out and still received no response.
Perhaps the Eskom power was off when you wanted to shower.
The Cormorant cabin is close to nature. You wake up with the birds calling and yes, the spiders can build their webs overnight.
Maybe the unit was not what you were looking for.

Relaxed environment.

Beautiful, quiet and neat.

We had a terrible start to the weekend due to various unforeseen incidents, but 10 minutes after arriving at Otters Haunt, we have completely forgotten about the past 24 hours. Beautiful surroundings, lovely walks, quiet and absolute soul-food! Just what we needed, just a pity we couldn't stay longer.
